Andy has been the Club Professional at Largs Golf Club since April 2008 and the Secretary since January 2021. Andy joined us after being the Assistant Professional at the Irvine Golf Club (Bogside) for 7 years. He turned Pro aged 18 and was one of the youngest fully qualified PGA Professionals' in the country.

Andy is proud to be a TGI Golf Partner. Being part of the largest Golf buying group in Europe gives the Pro Shop team at Largs access to all the major brands in golf and at the best available prices. Andy also qualified to represent Team Scotland in the 2021 TGI Partnership Trophy at the K Club sponsored by Callaway.

The Pro Shop at Largs underwent renovation in late 2019 when the shop was essentially split into 2 to incorporate an Indoor Studio. This has proved very popular with members and allows the Pro Shop team to increase service levels to the membership. The studio can be utilised for:

- Coaching
- Custom Fitting
- Gapping sessions
- Practice
- Simulation play on over 40 available courses via E6 connect simulation software

Andy is available for lessons on all aspects of your game. He is a licensed coach at the Sports Scotland Golf Facility at the National Sports Centre at Inverclyde in Largs. Anthony has been the Assistant Professional at Largs since 2015 and is now a fully qualified member of the PGA. Anthony had a successful junior career and was Club Champion at his home Club, Whinhill Golf Club in Greenock.

Anthony competes on the PGA Scottish Regional Tour as well as Paul Lawrie's Tartan Pro Tour. He has had several notable achievements over the last few years including his team winning the 2020 TGI Golf Team Challenge event in Belek, Turkey which is in fact the largest Pro Am held in Europe. Anthony also won the individual prize in the preceding Pro Am to the 2021 Sandy Pipey Masters at the prestigious Royal Dornoch Golf Club.

When he isn't competing or practicing - Anthony can be found in the Pro Shop where he fulfills all the custom fitting. Anthony is a certified fitter for Cobra, Taylor Made and Wilson Staff and his expertise will help you find your ideal clubs.
